TGS WORKSHOP ON WRITING, EDITING AND PRESENTATION SKILLS (WEPs)

The course focuses on building capacity for clear and effective writing, editing and oral presentation skills for all geoscience career fields including in academia, industry and Governmental institutions. The course engages broadly applicable ideas around clarity, efficiency, consistency, logic, and technical and stylistic correctness. The aim is to provide a forum for theoretical and hands-on discussion on skills in written and oral communication of research ideas (proposals), research findings and other forms of scientific reporting. The participants will work closely with experienced (and trained) academic researchers, writers and editors Drs Emmanuel Kazimoto and Cassy Mtelela from the University of Dar es Salaam
